Dr. Elizabeth (Betsy) Webb is a board-licensed physical therapist specializing in orthopaedic physical therapy. She received her doctorate from Northwestern University in Chicago and completed her Orthopedic Residency at Kaiser Permanente. Betsy also holds her bachelor degree in Human Biology, with an emphasis in sports medicine and human performance from Stanford University. She is one of 15,000 physical therapists in the nation who are board certified Orthopaedic Specialists (OCS). She is a Myofascial Decompression (MFD®) Provider and certified by the Titleist® Performance Institute (TPI). Her areas of expertise include: manual therapy, movement & biomechanical analysis, injury prevention, swimming, running & golf analysis, postural restoration & ergonomic assessment, post-operative rehab & sports performance training.
As a clinician, Betsy’s experience as a Division I athlete at Stanford has shaped her approach in treating an injured athlete and optimizing healing and movement patterns of the body. She understands the impact of injury, and works with each patient one-on-one to help achieve their goals and return to a high quality of life. She combines evidence-based manual therapy, neuromuscular re-training and therapeutic exercise to create an individualized program for each patient’s course of care. Whether a weekend warrior or competitive athlete, adolescent or adult, she strives to get patients back doing the things they love. She is passionate about health and wellness, and strives to help each patient achieve their goals and prevent future injury.
Outside of work, she enjoys participating in and watching sports. She loves cross-training, including HIIT training, running, biking, hiking, boxing TRX and many other activities. Originally from Chicago, Betsy is a big Chicago area sports fan and can be found cheering on all the Chicago teams, especially the Cubs!
